Das Herathera Island Resort profitiert stark von den Condor Flügen nach Gan, die die Fluggesellschaft Condor seit dem 23. Januar von Frankfurt aus anbietet. Laut Angaben des lokalen Condor Managers Abubakur Ali hätten schon 546 deutsche Touristen seit Flugbeginn Herathera besucht - und die Zahl der ankommenden Besucher steige Woche um Woche. Es war zunächst auch angedacht, die Flüge nur alle zwei Wochen anzubieten. Aufgrund der guten Auslastung werden die Flüge aber nach wie vor jede Woche durchgeführt.
Bislang macht die eingesetzte Boeing 757 noch einen Zwischenstop in den Vereinigten Arabischen Emiraten. Ab dem 6. Mai bietet Condor dann allerdings Direktflüge mit einer Boeing 767 an, die eine größere Reichweite besitzt.
